Cain Sauer: U.S. Navy Champions Network Champion of January

Jan 19th, 2024

Lexington Park, Md. – We take immense pride in acknowledging our very own, Cain Sauer, for being selected as the U.S. Navy Champions Network Champion for the month of January.

Acknowledged for his unwavering commitment and active participation within the U.S. Navy Champions Network, Cain, who serves as a Test Resource Manager (TRM) for the Naval Air Systems Command Presidential Helicopters Program (PMA-274), embodies excellence.

The Champion Network, aligned with the Chief of Naval Operations' directive of "get real, get better," propels digital innovation and transformation.

A tech-savvy and empathetic professional, Cain contributes significantly to this mission, aiding his peers in PMA-274 to embrace modern technology.

An early adopter of Flank Speed (Microsoft 365 DOD), Cain voluntarily assumed the role of Champion for his command, NAVAIR/NAWCAD; eventually, he extended his support globally on Microsoft Teams within the U.S. Navy.

In his Navy Champion Network spotlight, Cain shared the most enjoyable aspects of his role, emphasizing his dedication to keeping his team informed amid rapid digital transformation.

“What I have enjoyed the most about being a part of the Navy Champion Network and being a Navy Champion for my command is the ability to keep my team apprised of all the rapid digital transformation that is happening while they are focused on test planning, flight test, and execution of their mission,” Cain said. “It allows them to keep their “brain bandwidth” focused on their critical mission. Providing them the assurance that they are not missing out on something. My wife calls me a fixer. I enjoy fixing things, including people's frustrations.”

Congratulations again to Cain Sauer for his well-deserved recognition as the U.S. Navy Champions Network - Champion for January.
